Timeline: 2025
My Role: Game Designer, Developer

The idea for Plastic Panic sparked during a trip to Bali, where I witnessed beaches threatened by plastic pollution. I also noticed kids spending most of their time on their phones, disconnected from the natural world. I wanted to create something fun and educational, especially with games as an evolving interest for youth.

I designed all the game’s pixel art assets in Procreate and animated the ocean background to create a vibrant, immersive environment. I then coded the entire game in Godot using C++, implementing the turtle’s movement, trash-dodging mechanics, and point system. To complete the experience, I composed the game’s soundtrack in Strudel, adding an original audio layer that enhances the gameplay.

Every aspect, from visuals and animation to gameplay mechanics and music, was crafted by me to deliver an engaging, interactive experience that blends creativity, technology, and environmental awareness.
